Through the implementation of the Program "Accompanying women in the border areas", the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with accompanying units to connect with businesses and benefactors inside and outside the province to organize campaigns associated with the implementation of the Program "Spring of Solidarity - Border Tet", "Spring of Border Guard, Warming the Hearts of the Locals", "Spring of Border Guard - Loving Tet" in 13 border communes with many activities such as greeting and wishing the Border Guard Stations a Happy New Year, visiting and encouraging families with meritorious services, families of poor women members, those in difficult circumstances , cultural exchanges, arts, sports , organizing "Zero-dong stalls", culinary competitions, cooking green banh chung... Through the Program, more than 10,800 gifts and scholarships were presented to members, poor women, poor ethnic minority students who have overcome difficulties; nearly 30 shelters of love were built, more than 50 hygienic toilets were built; Annually sponsoring 10 poor students with the amount of 60 million VND/year/child; organizing medical examinations for 600 members and women; donating water purifiers, water filters, solar lamps... with a total value of over 4.5 billion VND. Thereby, contributing to helping members and women in border areas rise out of poverty, stabilize their lives, and build prosperous and happy families.
