Over the past 10 years, the implementation of Directive No. 05 of the Politburo has been seriously, flexibly and appropriately implemented by the City Farmers' Association at all levels. Thereby, cadres, party members and farmers' association members have increasingly raised their awareness, actively practiced their moral qualities and lifestyles, and fulfilled their assigned tasks well, contributing to the overall results of the Association's work and the farmers' movement.
Many good models and creative approaches associated with political tasks have been built and replicated. Inspection and supervision work has been strengthened; grassroots democracy regulations have been effectively implemented, and many legitimate recommendations from members have been promptly resolved.
The review of Directive 05 is integrated with the annual summary of the Association's work, ensuring practicality and effectiveness. The Standing Committee of the City Farmers' Association always promotes the spirit of solidarity, unity, and good leadership in performing tasks; no cadres or party members violate, and there is no internal disunity.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the City Farmers' Association at all levels has closely followed the local political tasks, effectively implemented the Association's work programs and plans and the farmers' movement. The direction and management work has been carried out flexibly and substantially; timely issued guiding documents and orientations on the content of task implementation in the context of preparing to rearrange the organizational apparatus according to the requirements of the new period.
The Association at all levels seriously implemented the conclusions of the Politburo , the Secretariat and the City Party Committee on streamlining the organizational apparatus; proactively participated in giving opinions on the draft amendments to the 2013 Constitution; promoted the application of information technology and digital platforms to improve the efficiency of connection and coordination with agencies and units. The work of training and fostering cadres was focused on, contributing to improving the quality of the Association's cadres.
The Association's work and the farmers' movement achieved many outstanding results: 159,624 members participated in health insurance (86%), 1,731 members participated in voluntary social insurance (214%); 78,331 households registered for the title of good production and business; 57,221 members received technical training. The total source of the Farmers' Support Fund reached 79.88 billion VND.
Emulation movements continue to spread widely, typically the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business", the movement to build new rural areas, participate in ensuring national defense and security, associated with local socio-economic development.
Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the City Farmers' Association at all levels will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; step up propaganda and mobilize members to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, build a strong Association organization, contributing to the successful implementation of the city's socio-economic development goals in the new period./.
