Online conference to guide the development of socio-economic targets for the 2025-2030 term

Online conference to deploy and guide the development of socio -economic indicators to serve the development of documents for the Provincial and Commune Party Congresses for the 2025-2030 term.

Attending the conference at the Son La provincial bridge point were over 100 delegates, including leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, and leaders of commune-level People's Committees. The conference was broadcast online to statistical teams at the grassroots level in the province.

Ministry of Finance chaired the online conference.

Delegates were introduced to the construction of the System of socio-economic statistical indicators to serve the Party Congresses at the provincial and communal levels for the 2025-2030 term; the content and method of calculating the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) index; the content and method of calculating the index of the proportion of added value of the digital economy in GRDP; instructions for compiling the index of the growth rate of total product value at the communal level; the content and method of calculating the human development index (HDI) index and the content and method of calculating the average income per capita index.

The conference is important in improving the quality of draft documents for Party Congresses at all levels, helping localities to develop accurate, complete reports with solid data bases, and to correctly assess the current situation in order to set appropriate goals, tasks and solutions. The conference also strengthens the capacity of statistical staff from provincial to communal levels, improving professional expertise in data collection, processing and analysis.
