In the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the spring days of Giap Thin, this morning, February 13 (the 4th day of Tet), Ha Loi Trung village, Trung Giang commune, Gio Linh district organized a traditional swing festival.

From early morning, hundreds of villagers and visitors gathered at the community cultural house to participate in the traditional swing festival.
According to the rules, all people present at the swing festival can participate in the competition. However, those who are not in good health such as: having cardiovascular disease, bone and joint disease, using alcohol, beer or stimulants... are not allowed to participate.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of Ha Loi Trung Village Tran Tan Phat said: "The village's swing festival is held on the 4th day of the Lunar New Year, every 3 years to pray for calm weather, favorable weather, bountiful crops, and good health for the villagers. This is a traditional festival, carrying the cultural beauty of Ha Loi Trung people that has been passed down for many years. Due to the impact of the epidemic, the village has only organized the swing festival again for 7 years now."

On the same day, associations and unions in Ha Loi Trung village organized a men's football tournament and an art program to celebrate the Party and the New Year of the Dragon - 2024.
In addition to being a sport , exercise and entertainment, this is also an opportunity for villagers, children working far from home and visitors from near and far to meet and exchange, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for Tet.
