According to Travel Off Path, the cost of living in Hoi An is the most attractive thing for Western tourists as they do not need to spend too much money to have a quality life.

Travel Off Path cites that digital nomads only need to spend about $840 (over VND20 million) per month to enjoy life in Hoi An with all the basic needs of digital nomads, including accommodation and daily meals. This figure is much lower when compared to famous cities in the US or Western Europe.

According to this travel site, Hoi An has many other favorable conditions for digital nomads such as: hospitable people, the city is located near the sea, diverse tourism services, good security...

Digital nomads is a term used to describe people who work online from multiple locations around the world , according to the Oxford Dictionary. This trend has become widespread since the post-COVID-19 period.

Besides Hoi An, Travel Off Path recommends London, Paris, Rome, Tokyo and New York because these 5 locations have many job opportunities and cultural diversity, but the cost of living in these cities is quite expensive.
