The first play to debut on this stage is the play A Love Affair , written by author Nhu Truc based on a short story by writer Nguyen Ngoc Tu. Nhu Truc's husband, the young director Minh Nhat, will direct the play.
Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Minh Nhat said that this stage is the result of the passion of artists who love the theater.
Minh Nhat won the Promising Young Director Award at the 2018 National Drama Festival with the play Hiu hiu gio bac . The play had many surprises and was very special to Minh Nhat.
That was the play he graduated with a degree in directing, his first play and he "dared" to enter it right away in a national professional drama competition, unexpectedly reaping sweet results right away, because only Nhat received the Promising Young Director award.
The play also marked the fate of the young director, when he was still an unknown guy, he dared to invite star Hoai Linh to take on the role of the heavy grandfather in the play. I don't know how he convinced Hoai Linh but he accepted and since then, for 7 years, every drama project of his has had Hoai Linh's participation.
In 2022, Hoai Linh and Viet Huong appeared in the play Lost in the Sea of People directed by Minh Nhat, participating in the 2021 National Drama Festival. And this time, with A Love Affair , Hoai Linh continues to accompany the young director. Hoai Linh plays Mr. Hai Nhan, an old man from the South.

Of the three plays that Minh Nhat and his wife performed, two were scripted by Nhu Truc, inspired by stories by writer Nguyen Ngoc Tu.
