Miss Mai Phuong said something surprising when stopping at Top 40 Miss World 2024

After a 3-week journey participating in the "Miss World 2024 race" in India, Miss Mai Phuong returned to Vietnam today (March 11). At the airport, the beauty born in 1999 was warmly welcomed by her biological mother, Miss Bao Ngoc, Runner-up Minh Kien, Runner-up Bui Khanh Linh and many fans.

What did Miss Mai Phuong say when she entered the Top 40 Miss World 2024?

Referring to the achievement of Top 40 Miss World 2024, Miss Mai Phuong expressed: "For me, success at Miss World is not just Top 40 and winning the Multimedia Challenge. For me, the biggest success and victory is that I and Vietnam have left a unique mark and warmth in everyone's hearts. I think they will remember the image of Vietnamese people with healing and sharing when I and the contestants took care of each other, cared for each other... Notably, when talking about Vietnam, many people will say: "Your country is wonderful, everyone is really united".

So for me, victory and success are achieved when I feel countless good things coming to me. Once again, I thank and am grateful to everyone on this journey."

Miss Mai Phuong shared her memories when participating in the journey to conquer the Miss World 2024 crown. In which, the beauty born in 1999 revealed the content of the closed interview at this beauty contest. According to Miss Mai Phuong, she was assigned to participate in the interview with her close friend, beauty Nursena Say (representing Türkiye) at Miss World 2024. Therefore, the conversation was also very open and comfortable.

Miss Mai Phuong said, President of Miss World Julia Morley shared: "Because there are not many opportunities for us to talk to each other in the contest, please share more things that you want the Organizing Committee to hear, so that we can understand more about you."

After that, Mai Phuong expressed the feelings she experienced in the contest in the most honest way. The Vietnamese representative also talked about the experiences and valuable lessons that she only had when coming to Miss World. "When I finished the interview, I felt extremely comfortable because the important thing was that I did not give up, always showing all my sincerity. I did not try to force myself to be anyone else. The important thing is that I have confidence, making the Miss World Organizing Committee remember and love me", Miss Mai Phuong affirmed.

Previously, the Miss World 2024 final held in Mumbai, India on the evening of March 9 attracted the attention of the beauty-loving community. As a result, the highest position belonged to the beauty Krystyna Pyszková ( 24 years old) from the Czech Republic. The title of 1st runner-up belonged to the representative of Lebanon.

Miss Mai Phuong stopped at the Top 40 final thanks to winning the Multimedia Challenge. This is also the first secondary award that Mai Phuong has won in the final round of Miss World 2024.
