Support businesses to connect supply and demand of goods

Enterprises and cooperatives learn and exchange information at the Conference on connecting supply and demand for consumption of products and goods in Tuyen Quang province in 2024.

Mr. Loc Kim Lien, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Tuyen Quang province, said that on November 22, the Department organized a conference to connect supply and demand to promote the consumption of local products and goods. The conference received the attention of many enterprises and cooperatives in cities and provinces such as Hanoi, Hung Yen... and a Chinese enterprise wishing to import tea from Tuyen Quang. This is an important event, creating opportunities for trade, expanding the market and increasing the economic value of the province's typical products.

Tuyen Quang province currently has 221 OCOP products recognized as 3 stars, 4 stars and 5 stars. Of which, Hong Thai Shan Tuyet tea product with 1 bud and 1 leaf has achieved 5 stars. Some recognized products have their own local identity and have prominent brands in the market such as Minh Huong gourd duck, Tuyen Quang honey, Xuan Van soaked persimmon, Xuan Van sweet grapefruit... which are widely known by consumers, consumed domestically and exported.

Coming to this year's supply-demand connection conference, Mr. Do Thanh Kim, Director of Binh Minh Organic Agricultural Cooperative, said that he brought and introduced OCOP products such as: Binh Minh Green Bean Tea, Binh Minh Black Tea, Binh Minh Guava Tea, Binh Minh Black Tea with Papaya Flower Ginseng, Binh Minh Cold-Dried Male Papaya Flower, Binh Minh Honey-Soaked Male Papaya Flower, Binh Minh Pear Guava. With the goal of expanding the consumption market, in addition to introducing products, the Cooperative also presented safe production processes that met quality standards. The Cooperative's booth attracted the attention of many distributors, creating opportunities for cooperation and bringing Tuyen Quang agricultural products to consumers across the country.

Ms. Luong Minh Thao, Director of Minh Thao Agricultural and Medicinal Products Cooperative, brought two outstanding products: Lemon Syrup and Kumquat Syrup. Ms. Thao shared that Lemon Syrup and Kumquat Syrup are produced according to a closed process, ensuring international food safety standards, with ingredients entirely from qualified growing areas. The products have conquered the domestic market and made their mark in the UK market thanks to their natural, unique flavors and superior quality. At the conference, Minh Thao Cooperative's products attracted the attention of many distributors and partners, opening up opportunities to expand exports to other potential markets.

Mr. Luu Nam Tai, Owner of Giang Duong Import-Export Enterprise, Guangxi, China shared that after visiting and enjoying the products brought for sale and introduction at the conference, he was very impressed. At the same time, he wishes to cooperate with enterprises and cooperatives producing tea in the province to import this product for consumption in the Chinese market.

At the conference, 15 cooperatives signed contracts to consume products. Through this connection of supply and demand, units also have the opportunity to meet many partners, sign many contracts and expand the market. From there, practical solutions are proposed to improve the efficiency and quality of promoting trade promotion activities in the coming time to connect products and participate in the global supply chain.
