Mr. Albadalejo, the new coach of Ninh Binh Club, was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. He used to play for small teams in Catalonia but had to retire early at the age of 26 due to injury. After that, he started studying coaching and continued to be involved in football as a coach.
Coach Albadalejo won promotion from the Spanish third division (Segunda B) with Lleida Esportiu, and has continuously led lower-division teams to face top La Liga clubs such as Atletico Madrid and Villarreal in the prestigious Copa del Rey (Spanish King's Cup). Ninh Binh Club believes that this coach will bring many professional values and is also suitable for the team's ambitions.

At Ninh Binh Club, Coach Albadalejo will not work alone. Accompanying him to Vietnam is a team of five Spanish assistants, including a technical assistant, fitness coach, goalkeeping coach, performance analyst and rehabilitation specialist. All are young professionals, well-trained in modern European football.
Over the past two months, coach Albadalejo has focused on studying Vietnamese football, admitting that he is about to face challenges ahead. However, he is also very excited about this job and impressed with the club's long-term plan to establish a quality academy.
Regarding the squad, Ninh Binh Club will also soon sign contracts with 2 Spanish foreign players (1 central defender and 1 midfielder). These contracts will be announced in early July. Ninh Binh Club has also recruited a series of quality domestic players including Chau Ngoc Quang, Dung Quang Nho, Tran Bao Toan (from HAGL) and is likely to sign a contract with Nguyen Duc Chien (from Viettel The Cong Club).
