On the morning of April 29, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a regular meeting for April 2025. Comrade Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting. The meeting focused on discussing and giving opinions on the results of the activities of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Council Committees in April and the work program for May 2025; Results of receiving citizens, receiving and handling complaints and denunciations; Contents of preparations for the organization of the 29th Session (special topic) of the Provincial People's Council.

According to the plan, the 29th Session (special) is expected to take place in early May 2025. At the Session, the Provincial People's Council will consider and give opinions on the Proposal to abolish Resolution No. 109 dated April 17, 2018 of the 18th term Bac Ninh Provincial People's Council, term 2016-2021 on the Planning of the exploitation and gathering areas of river sand, gravel and construction materials in the province; Proposal to adjust the 10th Medium-term Public Investment Plan of Bac Ninh province for the period 2021-2025; Proposal to withdraw, adjust, supplement and support funding in 2025.

Concluding the meeting, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Huong Giang agreed with the expected content of the 29th Session (special topic); Assign the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to coordinate with the Office of the Provincial People's Committee to review the contents and conditions for organizing the Session to ensure practicality and effectiveness. Regarding the tasks in May, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Council Committees are requested to continue to closely follow the proposed programs and action plans; Thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the directive documents of the Provincial Party Committee and the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council. Continue to review and evaluate the results of the implementation of the legal resolutions issued by the Provincial People's Council to promptly propose adjustments if necessary. Closely coordinate with the Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council in implementing the Project to merge the People's Council and the agencies of the Provincial People's Council, ensuring the achievement of the goal of streamlining the organizational apparatus, effectiveness and efficiency, associated with clearly defining the functions, tasks, powers, improving the quality of cadres and civil servants, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation. Continue to direct, coordinate and organize the implementation of key tasks in May 2025 according to the set program and plan to ensure quality, efficiency and compliance with regulations.
