The meeting listened to, discussed and approved a number of contents such as: Report on the activities of the People's Council, the Standing Committee, the committees, and the People's Council delegation groups in the first 6 months of the year, the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; report on the results of supervision in 2024 of the District People's Council; report on the results of implementation of resolutions, conclusions, and supervision recommendations of the People's Council, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the committees, and the People's Council delegation groups.
Report on direction, operation and results of implementation of socio -economic development, national defense and security tasks in the first 6 months of the year; directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; report on revenue and expenditure of the budget in the first 6 months of the year, directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; Report on the allocation of detailed unallocated funding sources at the beginning of the year and additional funding sources in the first 6 months of the year...
The meeting approved the reports on adjusting the 2024 budget that has been transferred to 2025 and the 2025 budget estimates for the National Target Programs; the report on allocating regular district budget funds entrusted through the District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office for lending to poor households and other subjects.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nong Binh Cuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the delegates of the 20th District People's Council (term 2021 - 2026) who have made many contributions in directing the synchronous socio-economic development targets of the locality, creating unity in the political system. 2025 is a year of special significance with major changes such as merging administrative units at the commune and provincial levels, ending district-level activities, requiring great efforts and determination of the political system. The Secretary of the District Party Committee requested the delegates to uphold their sense of responsibility, promote the spirit of solidarity and democracy, and focus on solving major issues that voters are interested in.
He requested that the district People's Council delegates pay attention to implementing well the survey and supervision activities, the targets of the People's Council resolutions at all levels, the programs and projects being invested in the area. From July 1, 2025, the activities of the 20th term of the District People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, will end, the delegates will be assigned to work and live in 05 communes, so this is the last session of the district. The District Party Committee highly appreciated the activities of the District People's Council in assuming the role of the State power agency in the locality, representing the will and aspirations of the people.
At the meeting, the district People's Council delegates reported on the synthesis of voters' opinions and recommendations before the 13th session of the 20th district People's Council; reported on responses to voters' opinions and recommendations before the meeting.
