Through inspection, the authorities discovered thousands of milk products, functional foods, children's foods and cosmetics, bearing the brands Altapharma, Hipp, Aptamil, Alete, Nivea... originating from the Federal Republic of Germany.
At the time of inspection, the warehouse staff could not present invoices or documents proving the origin of the goods. Initial statements showed that all of these goods were purchased illegally on the market.
Captain of Market Management Team No. 5 Le Manh Thang said that to deceive the authorities, the owner of the shipment used location 62 Bach Mai Street as a warehouse to store goods, not as a direct business location.
Goods are offered and consumed through social networks such as Zalo, Facebook...

To erase all traces, all information and transactions are done via social networks and transported via ship code.
"At 62 Bach Mai Street, the first floor was rented by the bank as a transaction office, while the subject used the top floors as a warehouse to store goods. This caused a lot of difficulty for the authorities during the inspection and control process," said Mr. Le Manh Thang.
The authorities have drawn up a record to seize all the goods. Through investigation, if the value of the infringing goods is found to be over 1 billion VND, the case will be transferred to the police for prosecution.
