- On the morning of June 21, the Department of Agriculture and Environment held a conference to review the work of the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the Agriculture and Environment sector has proactively and actively implemented assigned tasks and achieved many positive results.
Specifically, in implementing key tasks, the sector has supported the construction of 5 new product linkage chains; established 10 new agricultural and forestry cooperatives; evaluated, classified and granted certificates for 13 OCOP products; implemented the new rural construction program according to plan; advised on resolving difficulties and problems in compensation, support and resettlement when the State reclaims land for national defense, security and socio -economic development purposes; advised on adjusting and supplementing the Land Price List in the province; resolved administrative procedures correctly and ahead of schedule, reaching 97.9%...
Regarding agricultural production and services, the winter-spring crop area reached over 43,000 hectares; 229 planting area codes and 14 packaging facilities were maintained; the total herd of buffalo and cows tended to decrease, while the total herd of pigs and poultry increased compared to the same period; African swine fever increased sharply from the end of May 2025; forestry production was focused; the early spring campaign for irrigation and environmental sanitation achieved positive results.
In addition, in the first 6 months of the year, the unit submitted to the Provincial People's Committee a decision to reclaim and allocate land to 59 organizations, lease land to 12 organizations; organize the implementation and dissemination of the Law on Geology and Minerals in 2024; advise the Provincial People's Committee to report on the results of implementing the set of indicators for assessing environmental protection work in 2024; focus on performing well the tasks of natural disaster prevention and control... Along with that, the work of managing the quality of agricultural, forestry and fishery products; biodiversity; surveying, mapping and remote sensing, investment; investment in building rural agricultural infrastructure; inspection and examination... continued to be focused on and achieved positive results.
In addition to the achieved results, the implementation of the tasks of the Agriculture and Environment sector still faces some difficulties and limitations such as: dry weather at the beginning of the year; prices of agricultural materials remain high; dry weather leads to a sharp increase in the number of forest fires; the construction of the first land price list in 2026 is still slow...
Regarding the tasks for the last 6 months of 2025, the Department of Agriculture and Environment continues to focus on implementing key assigned tasks; directing the good implementation of the care and harvesting of crops; guiding livestock development, guiding pig farmers to implement biosafety livestock measures; completing forest surveys, promoting forest planting and protection; advising and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee to direct the resolution and removal of difficulties and problems arising in compensation, support and resettlement when the State recovers land; advising and drafting decisions of the Provincial People's Committee to regulate prices of irrigation public service products and prices of other irrigation public service products; proactively developing plans to prevent and combat natural disasters...
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying a number of contents related to the results of the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of the year, in which they pointed out the advantages and difficulties in implementing key tasks, the situation of agricultural and forestry production, land management, environment... From there, they raised recommendations and proposed solutions to successfully implement the tasks in the last 6 months of 2025.
