Assign, lease, and change the purpose of use of 2.29 million square meters of land to 84 organizations

After more than a month of merging administrative units, land administrative procedures in Lao Cai province have been stable, causing no disruption to people and businesses.

According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Lao Cai province, the unit has recently coordinated to complete land records and procedures for organizations and enterprises investing in the province; at the same time, it has advised on removing difficulties and obstacles related to this field.

Many areas of land in Au Lau ward are being leveled to welcome investors.

In the first 7 months of 2025, the industry appraised 115 dossiers on land allocation, land lease, and land use purpose conversion; advised the Provincial People's Committee to decide on land allocation, land lease, and land use purpose conversion for 84 organizations, with a total area of ​​over 2.29 million m2 ^. .

In addition, the industry has also signed contracts and land lease contract appendices for 61 organizations, with a total area of ​​more than 12,825 hectares, paying the budget more than 10.2 billion VND.

Lao Cai does not interrupt land procedures after merger.

In July 2025 alone, the whole province resolved more than 70 land registration dossiers, granting Land Use Right Certificates to organizations assigned or leased land by the State (cumulatively more than 678 dossiers).

Land registration office branches have received and processed more than 5,048 land registration dossiers, issued land use right certificates and 1,515 secured transaction registration dossiers for households and individuals (cumulative 19,066 dossiers).
