The province has 86 coffee production and processing establishments with a total capacity of 11,800 tons/year. Currently, coffee processing establishments in the area are promoting deep processing, focusing on processing specialty coffee and roasted coffee to increase the value of coffee. At the same time, many businesses have also oriented towards exporting deeply processed coffee, instead of only exporting green coffee beans as at present.

In the first 5 months of the year, Gia Lai exported 131,000 tons of coffee, equivalent to an export turnover of 731 million USD, an increase of 70.79% in value over the same period in 2024.
