Pig price in the Northern region
According to a survey on the morning of June 18, the price of live pigs continued to remain stable in the northern provinces and cities. Currently, live pigs in this area are sold at a price of 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
Of which, Hanoi, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang have the highest live pig prices in the region, reaching 69,000 VND/kg. Live pigs in the remaining localities in the region are purchased by traders at 68,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the Central Highlands region
After several days of remaining stable, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg this morning.
Accordingly, after the same price reduction, live pigs in Dak Lak fell to 69,000 VND/kg, in Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa down to 68,000 VND/kg. Currently, live pig prices in this area fluctuate between 68,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the Southern region
The southern live hog market continued to witness a downward trend in many localities this morning. Currently, 73,000 VND/kg is the highest transaction price recorded in this region.
Specifically, after adjustment, live pigs in Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Ca Mau dropped to 73,000 VND/kg. Live pigs in Vinh Long, Hau Giang, Tien Giang, Bac Lieu and Soc Trang also decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, purchased at 72,000 VND/kg.
In general, the price of live pigs today continues to move sideways in the North and continues to decrease in many provinces in the Central and Southern regions. Currently, traders across the country are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from 68,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.
