According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in the first 6 months of 2025, Vietnam's coffee exports reached 5.5 billion USD, setting a new record and completing the year's target early. This is an impressive result, reflecting the competitiveness of the Vietnamese coffee industry in the global market.
However, most coffee production is concentrated in the harvest from December to April of the following year, so exports in the last months of the year may decrease compared to the first half of the year. It is expected that total coffee export turnover in 2025 may reach 7.5 billion USD, an increase of 36.9% compared to 2024.
Coffee prices rose slightly in the first trading session of the week. Although the US dollar weakened, this did not provide much support for coffee prices. The market was dominated by favorable weather information in Brazil, which facilitated the harvest and put downward pressure on prices on both international exchanges.

In Brazil, coffee output is forecast to increase slightly by 0.5% to 65 million bags. According to the USDA, global ending coffee stocks in the 2025–2026 crop year will increase to 22.8 million bags, up 4.9% from the previous season’s 21.75 million bags. This forecast further reinforces the current downward pressure on global coffee prices.
