Of which, the group of medicines and medical services increased the most (18.71%); followed by the group of housing, electricity, water and construction materials (6.64%); the group of other goods and services (5.97%)...
The average CPI in the first 5 months of 2025 increased by 2.82% compared to the average in the same period in 2024, higher than the increase of the previous year (the average CPI in the first 5 months of 2024 increased by 2.66% compared to the average in the same period in 2023). Of which, 10/11 commodity groups had price index increases and 1 commodity group had index decreases compared to the same period last year.
In this situation, the Department of Finance of Da Nang said that the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City has issued a document requesting to focus on implementing price management and control measures in 2025. Proactively monitor the market supply and demand of essential goods; strengthen state management of prices to stabilize the price market and control inflation in 2025 in the city.
Strictly control the declaration of prices of goods according to regulations. Monitor the price movements of gasoline and oil, promptly direct road transport business units to adjust transportation service prices in accordance with fluctuations in input factors, especially gasoline and oil costs in price formation factors.
At the same time, resolutely and strictly handle cases of taking advantage of natural disasters, epidemics, and market fluctuations to unreasonably increase prices of goods and services from now until the end of 2025; focus on inspections at the time of festivals and important events in the area.
