Attending the program were Ms. Tran Hoai Minh - Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Youth Front Committee; and representatives of the leaders of the accompanying units.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Tran Hoai Minh said that the program to support improving foreign language proficiency and international integration for Vietnamese youth in the period of 2022 - 2030; Project on teaching and learning foreign languages in the national education system in the period of 2017 - 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training ; aims to continue promoting the initiative of provincial and municipal Youth Unions and affiliated Youth Unions in organizing activities to improve English proficiency for youth, mobilizing resources and volunteers to deploy volunteer teams to teach English in the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2025.
The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in collaboration with the AMES International English System organized the Central-level English Coach Training Program in 2025. This is the fourth time the program has been organized and disseminated on a national scale.

Deployed since 2021, the Central Youth Union has trained English teaching volunteers and directed the organization of English teaching volunteer teams in the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, achieving many positive results.
In the 3 years of 2021 - 2023, 120 volunteer teams to teach English nationwide in the summer youth volunteer campaign, including 450 volunteers, reached more than 3,000 disadvantaged children and adolescents.
Following that success; The Central Youth Union Secretariat issued Official Dispatch No. 6051-CV/TWĐTN-MTTN dated May 9, 2025 to continue implementing the Central-level English Coach Training Program and organizing youth volunteer teams to teach English in the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
“More than 190 volunteers selected by provincial, municipal and affiliated Youth Unions to participate in the Central English Coach Training Program in 2025 are young pioneers with a spirit of volunteering for the community, promoting knowledge and youth to bring knowledge, English skills and international integration to convey to children and teenagers in difficult areas,” said Ms. Minh.
The program is organized nationwide and is divided into 2 phases. Phase 1: Organizing the Central-level English trainer training program - Training for trainers (T4T), the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with the AMES International English System organizes the Central-level English trainer training program online from June 18 to June 20, 2025.

The Central English Coach Training Program helps English coaches and volunteers improve and develop their professional skills and communication skills. |
Phase 2 will implement training for volunteers at the provincial and grassroots levels. Each provincial, municipal, and affiliated Youth Union organizes provincial training, and requests each grassroots or equivalent Youth Union to select 1 representative to become a provincial English trainer, then coordinate with provincial trainers who have been trained in Phase 1 (Central level) or local English Centers to implement training content similar to the model and knowledge that have been trained and instructed by the Central Youth Union. Implementation time is in June 2025.
The Central-level English Coach Training Program is an important premise to help English coaches and volunteers improve and develop their professional skills, information exchange and teamwork skills; support them with the necessary provisions to actively and proactively participate in supporting and teaching English to children and teenagers in the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
