This is a meaningful and practical artistic activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.
In its 6th edition, the Young Photography Festival attracted over 2,000 entries from 221 authors from 29 provinces and cities; of which, 205 were in the idea category and 1,804 were in the realism category.

As a result, the Organizing Committee selected 17 best works to award prizes. In the realism category, 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and 6 consolation prizes were awarded to outstanding young authors.
In the conceptual photography category, 4 authors were honored with 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, 1 bronze medal and 1 consolation prize. At the same time, the Organizing Committee selected 124 works by 73 authors to display at the exhibition.

Participating in the Festival, author Phan Minh Tho ( Gia Lai ) excellently won the gold medal in the idea photography category with the photo series Behind the Score . The 5-photo series reflects the reality of the burden of achievement pressure that makes children lose the joy of learning, affecting their physical and mental development.
In addition, author Phan Minh Tho was also awarded an encouragement prize in the realism photo series category with the photo series Street Art Sports - a genre that helps young people affirm their personality and connect with the community.

On this occasion, Gia Lai also has 6 authors whose works were selected to be displayed at the exhibition, including: Huynh Ba Tinh (works Echo of the Great Forest, Joyful Together, Fierce on the Racetrack, Connecting Military and Civilian Love ); Pham Cong Quy ( Racing Nets, Drying Coffee by Machine ); Bui Minh Chau ( New City ); Pham Ho Anh Tu ( The Landmark ); Dang Van Hai ( Speedy Sails ); Pham Anh Vu ( High-rise Buildings on the Horizon ).
The Young Photography Festival is an event held every two years to encourage the development of young photographers, promote creative activities, and publish works reflecting contemporary life through the lens of young Vietnamese photographers.
This is also an opportunity for young photography enthusiasts across the country to exchange, meet, and introduce their creative achievements, contributing to promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam to domestic and international audiences.
