In the 2024-2025 school year, Lao Cai province has more than 10,300 candidates registering for the 10th grade high school entrance exam. Of these, 155 candidates requested direct admission. Lao Cai Specialized High School had the largest number of candidates, with more than 610 candidates, an increase of 744 candidates in the province compared to the previous school year.
