Japanese tourist unexpectedly receives iPhone X dropped on Da Nang beach

On April 8, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command said that border guards returned an iPhone X to a Japanese tourist who dropped it on the beach in Da Nang.

Previously, at 10:00 a.m. on April 7, while on patrol at Lang Ngu Ong (Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Man Thai Ward, Son Tra District), Senior Lieutenant Do Van Chien, Head of the Reconnaissance Team, Son Tra Border Guard Station (Da Nang City Border Guard Command) picked up an iPhone X mobile phone.

Senior Lieutenant Do Van Chien contacted Facebook Son Tra 24h to ask for a wide announcement on social media to find the person who lost the property. At 10:00 a.m. on April 8, Mr. Kunio Fukumitsu (38 years old, Japanese nationality) contacted and went to Son Tra Border Guard Station to receive the property.

The border guard unit confirmed and proceeded to return the property to the Japanese tourist.

Japanese tourist Kunio Fukumitsu gets his phone back

Mr. Kunio Fukumitsu said that he had previously traveled to Da Nang City, stayed at the Royal Ocean Hotel (Vo Van Kiet Street, Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District), and dropped his iPhone X while swimming in Da Nang on April 7.

Although the phone was old, it contained a lot of important work data, so Mr. Kunio Fukumitsu was very surprised and happy to receive the phone back.

Japanese tourist Kunio Fukumitsu wrote a letter of thanks to Senior Lieutenant Do Van Chien and Son Tra Border Guard Station.
