The Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva costume ceremony is performed in parallel with the procession of the statue of Avalokitesvara Buddha.

This is the most anticipated part of the ceremony for locals and tourists. The act of dressing up as Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara at the festival implies that Bodhisattva always accompanies sentient beings anytime, anywhere, spreading his compassionate vows throughout humanity.
