Dong Nai: Clarifying the case of a truck driver running over and killing someone on Highway 51

On the afternoon of August 28, Bien Hoa City Police are investigating the cause of an accident on National Highway 51, passing through Phuoc Tan Ward, Bien Hoa City, that left one person dead.

According to initial information, a dash cam from a vehicle following behind recorded that at around 12 noon the same day, truck with license plate 71H-012... driven by D. M. T (28 years old, from Ben Tre ) on National Highway 51.

When reaching the intersection, driver T. turned right and collided with Mr. TH D (38 years old, living in Binh Duong ) who was driving a motorbike with license plate 83P9 in the same direction.

After the collision, Mr. D. fell down and was run over by the wheels. At this time, the truck driver stopped for a few seconds and then continued to press the gas to keep the vehicle moving, causing Mr. D. to die on the spot.
