Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai is the new Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.

On the morning of June 30, Ca Mau province held a ceremony to announce the resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on the arrangement of provincial and commune-level administrative units; ending the operation of district-level administrative units; establishing Party organizations, appointing Party Committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the province, communes, and wards of Ca Mau province.

The ceremony was held at the Hall of the Military Command of Ca Mau province, connecting online with 64 points of communes and wards in the province and was broadcast live on Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio and Television, Bac Lieu Newspaper and Radio and Television.

At the ceremony, comrade Le Quang Manh announced the resolutions of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee. The Politburo decided to appoint the Executive Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 55 comrades (24 comrades members of the Executive Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee; 30 comrades members of the Executive Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee; 1 comrade expected to be transferred and appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Court). The Central Committee transferred 1 comrade, Thai Ret, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Soc Trang Provincial People's Court (transferred and appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the new Ca Mau Provincial People's Court).

The Politburo also decided to approve the Standing Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 20 comrades (9 comrades members of the Standing Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee; 11 comrades members of the Standing Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee).

The Politburo also decided to appoint comrade Nguyen Ho Hai , former Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the new Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term. At the same time, appoint 3 comrades to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the new Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, including: Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet , alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Van Thieu , Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee (to be appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the new Ca Mau Provincial People's Council for the 2021 - 2026 term); Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Thanh Ngai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee (to be appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the new Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term).

According to comrade Nguyen Ho Hai, the merger of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces and the operation of a two-level local government system today is not only to arrange and streamline the apparatus to ensure efficient, effective and efficient operations, but also to demonstrate the strategic vision of the Central Government for long-term development, creating a historical turning point to expand development space, create new motivation and resources, and synergy to build a new Ca Mau province with a larger economic scale, more synchronous infrastructure, higher competitiveness and connectivity.
