Comrade Ngo Minh Hai was appointed as Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

On the afternoon of July 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union held the 20th Executive Committee Conference (expanded), term XI, term 2022-2027, to review the work of the Youth Union and youth movement in the first 6 months of 2025.

At the conference, the representative of the Central Youth Union announced the decision of the Central Youth Union Secretariat on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Provisional Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the decision, the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union consists of 70 comrades; the Standing Committee consists of 17 comrades. Comrade Ngo Minh Hai, member of the Central Youth Union Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

The Central Youth Union Secretariat also appointed five Deputy Secretaries of the City Youth Union, including comrades: Ho Thi Anh Tuyet, Trinh Thi Hien Tran, Le Tuan Anh, Nguyen Dang Khoa and Nguyen Minh Son.

The Secretary and 5 Deputy Secretaries of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union were also appointed by the Central Youth Union Secretariat.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City has just been reorganized on the basis of merging the Youth Union organizations and youth union members of the provinces: Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong . After the merger, the whole area has 168 Youth Union organizations at commune, ward and special zone levels.

Also within the framework of the conference, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union announced the decision to establish 168 Youth Unions of communes, wards, and special zones; appointed temporary secretaries of these units, and introduced youth volunteer teams to support the arrangement of administrative procedures at the groundswell level.
