Lang Chanh Enterprise with social security activities

Lang Chanh Business Association gives support money to families affected by fire in Giao Thien commune.

As an enterprise operating in the field of forest product processing, Lang Chanh Forestry Joint Stock Company always implements the motto that business must be associated with social responsibility. Therefore, over the years, the enterprise has always actively participated in activities for social security. Mr. Nguyen Van Nam, director of the company, said: In addition to effective production and business activities, creating jobs and stable income for nearly 130 local workers, 200 indirect workers in communes and towns in the district and thousands of workers in raw material areas, the company also promotes social security activities. From 2020 to present, the company has sponsored and supported 400 million VND to carry out charitable, humanitarian activities and contribute to social security launched by the district and commune. In addition, every year, the company reviews disadvantaged workers' families to support loans of 50 million VND/family without interest for 3 years so that they can build houses and stabilize their lives.

Mr. Le Minh Cuong, Permanent Vice Chairman of Lang Chanh Business Association, said: As of May 2025, Lang Chanh District Business Association has 70 participating enterprises. Most of the enterprises operate in production and business in fields such as: Construction, forestry processing, passenger transport, services... In recent years, enterprises have operated effectively in production and business, contributing to creating jobs for 800 local workers. Along with that, Lang Chanh District Business Association has actively participated in "gratitude" activities, charity, building houses for poor households, contributing funds to support people in difficult circumstances, people affected by natural disasters, storms and floods, promoting education and talent. From the end of 2023 to now, Lang Chanh District Business Association has called for and mobilized 1 billion 647 million VND. From the above amount, the association has coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Chanh district to support the construction of 7 "Great Unity" houses for poor households and policy families worth 280 million VND. In addition, member enterprises directly supported the construction of houses for poor households, worth over 540 million VND; coordinated with VinscoolEducation System to donate 230 chairs, 1,200 student desks, 20 felt boards, 800 stools, 50 dining tables, 100 mattresses, 20 office desks, 5 bicycles... worth over 800 million VND to schools in the district; together with local authorities visited and gave gifts to poor households, policy families, students with difficult circumstances who strived to study on holidays, Tet, and the new school year; actively contributed to support people affected by natural disasters, floods, and new rural construction... with an amount of 300 million VND. With effective and practical work, Lang Chanh District Business Association has actively participated in hunger eradication, poverty reduction, gratitude programs, community programs, and people overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics.

With the motto "Business associated with social responsibility", in the coming time, Lang Chanh District Business Association will continue to promote its role as a bridge between businesses and the government to promptly resolve recommendations, help businesses develop production and business, thereby effectively implementing social security issues in the district.
