Radio Frequency Department spreads the spirit of innovation and creativity, enhances the capacity to apply Gen AI

On June 6, 2025, towards the 32nd anniversary of its founding (June 8, 1993 - June 8, 2025), the Radio Frequency Department successfully organized the Contest "Conquering Gen AI - Breakthrough thinking, practical application" to raise awareness and skills in using new generation artificial intelligence (Gen AI), while encouraging creativity and application of technology in daily work throughout the Department.

The competition gathered 17 teams from units under the Department, with a combined organization format between direct in Hanoi and online to regional Radio Frequency Centers across the country.

Speaking at the opening and direction of the event, Mr. Le Van Tuan - Director of the Radio Frequency Department emphasized the strategic importance of Artificial Intelligence: "AI cannot replace humans, but people who know how to use AI will replace people who do not know how to use AI. As a unit with a tradition of applying information technology in a Ministry leading digital transformation, we need to continue to maintain that position by understanding and using AI effectively."

On the occasion of the Department's 32nd birthday - the age of courage and innovation, the Director also expressed his hope that each cadre, civil servant and employee will find new progress in their own digitalization journey.

The competition consists of 3 main rounds:

Round 1: Knowledge test and presentation of Gen AI application ideas.

Round 2: Practice skills challenge with AI tools to summarize and present content.

Round 3: Present and defend practical Gen AI application solutions in work.

Besides the main rounds, the " Create funny images " sub-round brought relaxing moments, showing the creativity and humor of the teams.

Final results:

• First Prize: Regional Radio Frequency Center VII
• Second Prize: Regional Radio Frequency Center IV
• Third Prize: Technical Center

At the Closing Ceremony, Director of the Radio Frequency Department Le Van Tuan presented the book "Command setting technique for GPT Chat" to the competing teams.

The Department's leaders and former Department's leaders took photos with the winning teams at the Hanoi site.

The competition is not only an intellectual playground but also a testament to the determination of the Radio Frequency Department in mastering technology, creating breakthrough values, contributing to the overall development of the industry.
