Teacher Le Duy Dung, Principal of Quan Son District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School with students of the school.

In 2002, after graduating from Hanoi Pedagogical University, Mr. Le Duy Dung was assigned to work at Quan Son District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School. With his youth and enthusiasm, Mr. Dung always strives to overcome difficulties and achieve many achievements in teaching. In 2009, Mr. Dung was appointed Vice Principal of Quan Son District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School. From 2017 to present, Mr. Dung has held the position of Principal of Son Lu Secondary School and Quan Son District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School.

Teacher Le Duy Dung said: Quan Son District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School is a specialized school. In addition to the task of teaching culture, the school also carries out the task of caring for and nurturing students. Realizing the great responsibility, the school regularly checks and urges students to self-study and implement living habits. Pay attention toeducating students to promote the spirit of solidarity, help each other in studying; build a civilized lifestyle, keep the living place, classroom clean and protect the environment.

Identifying improving the quality of teaching as a key task, Mr. Dung and the school's board of directors have encouraged teachers to boldly innovate teaching methods, promote students' initiative and creativity, take students as the center; apply information technology in lectures. At the same time, encourage teachers to study to improve their professional qualifications. Coordinate with parents to grasp students' thoughts and aspirations to encourage them to study hard and actively participate in school activities.

In addition, Mr. Dung and the school's board of directors actively advised Quan Son district to pay attention to investing in building school facilities, classrooms, student accommodation and renovating the green, clean and beautiful landscape environment, focusing on organizing meals for students to ensure food hygiene and safety and helping students have good health, paying attention to developing cultural, artistic and sports movements associated with preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.

Thanks to the efforts of the school's staff, teachers and employees, including the contribution of teacher Le Duy Dung, in recent years, Quan Son District Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has achieved many achievements in education, becoming a bright spot in the education sector of Quan Son District. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 100 excellent student awards at all levels. In the provincial cultural subject excellent student competition, the school won 11 awards, ranking first among the boarding secondary schools for ethnic minorities in 11 mountainous districts.

With his contributions, Mr. Dung has been awarded certificates of merit and certificates of merit by all levels and sectors. In January 2025, he was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Education and Training for his outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning" in the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. Dung deserves to be a shining example for teachers to learn and follow.
