Ca Mau province delegation studies the model of Quang Ninh province's Media Center

As part of the working program in Quang Ninh, this afternoon, March 21, the working delegation of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee led by Comrade Nguyen Duc Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, had a working session to study the model of the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center. Working with the delegation were Comrade Vi Ngoc Bich, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, representatives of the Provincial Media Center and departments under the Center.

Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center officially came into operation on January 1, 2019 on the basis of merging the province's information and press agencies, including: Quang Ninh Newspaper, Quang Ninh Radio - Television Station, General Electronic Information Portal (under the Office of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Ha Long Newspaper of the Quang Ninh Provincial Literature and Arts Association). After more than 6 years, the Center has stabilized its organizational structure, maintained stable communication channels in all types of press: Radio, television, print newspapers, electronic newspapers, electronic information portals, and other press and media publications according to the converged editorial office model, with a streamlined organizational structure, effective and efficient operations.

Comrade Vi Ngoc Bich, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, emphasized that with the attention and direction of the Central Government, the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center is the first pioneer model in merging provincial-level information and press agencies, initially meeting the requirements and set goals; affirming the effectiveness of the policy of streamlining the organizational apparatus. From the practical operation of the Center, all professional aspects have been comprehensively improved, producing increasingly high-quality press products, better meeting the needs of the media public and implementing the political tasks of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, affirmed: Quang Ninh is one of the localities with strong development in many aspects with many good, creative ways of doing things, new models, pioneering and effective in practice. The practical experience of the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center in management, operation, along with the policies and mechanisms of Quang Ninh province in implementing the model will be good experience for implementing the model of merging press and media agencies of Ca Mau province in the coming time.

At the meeting, leaders of the Provincial Media Center also shared experiences and answered some questions about the Center's operating model in recent times.
