According to Dr. Nhan, this afternoon the second national selection process and the third virtual selection process for the southern group were completed.

In general, universities are still refining their admission data. Up to this point, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry's benchmark score is still as predicted. Accordingly, the benchmark score for considering high school graduation exam scores may decrease slightly and the benchmark scores for other methods may increase compared to last year.

According to the current standard score plan, many majors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry have a standard score of 22-25 according to the method of considering high school graduation exam scores. Corresponding to the method of considering high school learning results is 25-29 points, considering the score of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam is at 750-900 points.

This affects the trend of changing the benchmark scores of the schools' methods compared to last year.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry announced the minimum score for all majors at 18 points (general program) and 17 points (English-enhanced program). For the law major group, the minimum score is 18 points (in which the minimum score for literature or math is 6.0 for combinations with only one of the two subjects; the minimum score for literature and math is 6.0 for combinations with both subjects). The threshold for ensuring input quality for the pharmaceutical major is implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Last year, the benchmark scores for the high school graduation exam at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry increased in most majors, with the common increase being 0.5-2.5 points.
