With a creative and skillful expression, imbued with Hoi An's cultural identity, the work "Sacred Soul of Vietnam" helps everyone feel a colorful Hoi An on each lantern, or the images on the wharf and under the boat recall a bustling commercial port.

Ms. Chen Jia - Cultural Director of Yuyuan INC, a member of Fosun Group (China), a member of the Jury, shared: “Hoi An artisans have breathed life into the culture and long history of Vietnam into their lantern works, using the art of light to convey love and pride in the history of the nation as well as honoring traditional Vietnamese culture.

In particular, it also shows a very high level of creativity when using environmentally friendly materials: water coconut trees to create an artistic masterpiece. We have been exposed to many creative methods in lantern art in the world , but the creativity in the way of Hoi An artisans is the first time we have witnessed it.
