Musician Nguyen Duy Khoi was born in Hue, but lives in Da Nang - the place he considers his second hometown. He started composing music very early (1971) with the song "In the rain of bombs, the sun will come", and has been involved in music for more than 50 years.
During his career, musician Nguyen Duy Khoi composed nearly 200 songs. Among them, there are many good works, widely received and loved by the public such as "Khi tat tim van hong", "Bang khuan Ba Na", "Ben song Han", "Dem hoi pho Hoai", "Hon da que toi", "Huong ve bien dong", "Ca nuoc dan tien"...
His songs are always imbued with love for the country, people, and islands of his homeland; both lyrical and heroic, optimistic with a belief in life and beauty. He is also one of the few artists from Da Nang to be honored with the State Prize for Literature and Arts (2022) with the song "Hoai Street Festival Night".
In this music night, the Organizing Committee brought to the audience 16 songs and medleys, which are works that bear a strong mark in the composing career of musician Nguyen Duy Khoi, performed by singers in Da Nang and other localities across the country.
This is not only an activity to recognize and pay tribute to the musical achievements of musician Nguyen Duy Khoi over the past 50 years, but also a quality, attractive and worth-watching music party for the audience.
