From a small starting point, many private enterprises in Hai Duong have constantly strived to grow and develop, affirming their position and reputation in the market.

After more than 20 years of construction and development, 1369 Construction Joint Stock Company has become a public company and listed its shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.

Breakthrough transformation

To reach out to the "big sea", private enterprises must always focus on building solid internal strength and having a strategic vision. The story of Construction Joint Stock Company 1369 in Le Thanh Nghi Ward ( Hai Duong City) is a typical example.

Established in August 2003, formerly known as Tan Son Cooperative, 1369 Construction Joint Stock Company began its challenging development journey with an initial charter capital of only 3.5 billion VND. In the early years of its establishment, the company had about 30 employees, focusing mainly on stone mining, land leveling and freight transport. With limited human resources and construction equipment, the company faces many difficulties in building its reputation in the market. Approaching large projects and affirming its name in the construction industry was a big challenge.

However, with strong will and strategic vision, this enterprise has gradually overcome difficulties. Up to now, after more than 20 years of construction and development, 1369 Construction Joint Stock Company has expanded its operations to the fields of real estate, construction, trade and import-export. The company's charter capital has reached more than 600 billion VND, with over 400 officers and employees. The enterprise became a public company in 2016 and officially listed its shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange in April 2017.

Although a young enterprise, Binh Bao Minh Company Limited in Hai Duong City has also made rapid development steps. In November 2020, the company opened VinFast Binh Bao Minh Showroom on Ngo Quyen Street (Hai Duong City). In 2024, the company opened a second facility in Chi Linh City. In March 2025, the enterprise continued to open a third dealership in Kinh Mon Town. The company plans to put the second service workshop on Nguyen Luong Bang Street (Hai Duong City) into operation next July.

Hai Duong Garment II Joint Stock Company is also a typical example of the transformation of private enterprises. Formerly a state-owned enterprise, equitized in 2003, after being "weaned", the company has proactively grown and expanded its market. From the domestic consumption market, the company has now expanded its market to many countries such as the UK, Korea, the US...

Mr. Trinh Dinh Dung, Director of Hai Duong Garment II Joint Stock Company, said that the enterprise is always interested in finding basic solutions: "What to produce? For whom to produce? How to produce? And how to consume it?". To do this, it requires the enterprise to have a suitable management system, ensuring the most effective supply and processing of work to serve the management work and help the enterprise choose the production method that can recover capital the fastest, bringing the highest profit to the enterprise.

Strategy and partnership are needed.

Sharing his company's successful experience, Mr. Le Tuan Nghia, General Director of 1369 Construction Joint Stock Company, said that the most important strategy of the company is to diversify its fields of operation. This not only helps the company minimize risks but also opens up many new development opportunities. In addition, the company has carried out a profound transformation of its business model. Since 2019, the company has restructured according to the Holding model (parent company and many subsidiaries), creating a strong ecosystem with 4 subsidiaries, 3 affiliated companies and a wide network of branches in the provinces and cities: Hanoi, Quang Binh, Son La, Bac Ninh, Lam Dong. In addition, the company also focuses on investing in technology and management to help improve operational efficiency, optimize processes and reduce costs, creating a solid foundation for sustainable development.

The enterprise is also expanding its investment in industrial park infrastructure and industrial clusters in Long An province. "If the authorities at all levels, functional agencies and the business community properly implement Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, I believe that the private business community in Hai Duong particular in and the whole country in general will grow stronger and develop further," said Mr. Pham Trung Thai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of this company.

In order for private enterprises to grow and develop sustainably, in addition to the enterprises' own efforts, support from the State plays a very important role. Many business leaders believe that it is necessary to build a transparent and stable legal environment; create favorable conditions for access to capital, land, technology and human resources. At the same time, there should be policies to encourage digital transformation and support enterprises in the process of economic integration. Policies need to be one step ahead, creating the premise and motivation for the development of enterprises, and should not wait for large enterprises to develop appropriate policies.

In the coming time, the merger of Hai Duong province with Hai Phong city will expand the market scale, while creating a new “playground” with many opportunities and outstanding development potential for the business community. With the spirit of effort, constant creativity and the support of the State through breakthrough policies, Hai Duong's private economic sector is expected to grow stronger and stronger, contributing positively to the overall development of Hai Duong province today and Hai Phong city in the future.
