(HNMO) - On May 18, at the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Binh province, the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion in coordination with departments and branches of Quang Binh province organized a working program between Hanoi city and Quang Binh province, aiming to strengthen cooperation in investment, trade and tourism promotion in 2023 and the following years.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Anh Duong, Director of the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, introduced the Center's activities, provided information on a number of activities under the Hanoi City Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Program in 2023, as well as discussed the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Hanoi Party Committee Standing Committee and the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in the coming time. At the same time, he provided information on the coordination of the organization of the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Program in Quang Binh with the theme: Hanoi and the Central provinces - Connecting for mutual development - "Link to Grow".
Mr. Phan Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Binh province, clarified the relevant contents in organizing activities of Quang Binh province and provinces in the South Central region in June and July this year.
According to Mr. Phan Hoai Nam, Quang Binh province is preparing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park being recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage with festivals and seminars such as: Quang Binh Cave Festival in 2023; Scientific seminar on the theme "World Natural Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park: Adaptation, Integration and Sustainable Development; Ao Dai Festival with the theme "Ao Dai - Back to the Heritage Land" ...
In the coming time, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province will organize the Vietnam - Laos - Thailand International Trade and Tourism Fair, so Hanoi and Quang Binh will coordinate to organize two events: Investment promotion conference and organize exhibitions and introduce local business booths to create a strong effect for the events in the chain to enhance promotion.
At the conference, the participants discussed in detail how to connect Hanoi businesses with Quang Binh businesses; surveyed tourist routes in Quang Binh; surveyed businesses, production facilities, and introduced product supply sources for supermarket chains and shopping centers in Hanoi.
Hanoi and Quang Binh will jointly promote cooperation activities, investment, trade and agriculture promotion; step up tourism promotion activities; maintain and expand tourism development cooperation programs with Quang Binh province in particular and other provinces and cities in general.
At the end of the working program, the two sides agreed on the contents as well as wished to closely coordinate in the coming time to effectively organize and implement cooperation programs of the Hanoi Party Committee and People's Committee with Quang Binh province in particular and provinces and cities in the country in general, with the spirit of "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country".
