From now until the end of the year, the Association of War Veterans of Can Tho City will focus on thoroughly grasping and studying the resolutions, directives and regulations of the Party, the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of War Veterans, the programs and plans of the City Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; propagating and competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the 15th Congress of the Can Tho City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; coordinating with the Party Committees of communes and wards to complete the executive committee, standing committee, inspection committee and the position of chairman of the Association of War Veterans of communes and wards... The Association of War Veterans of the city will focus on leading and directing the preparation of contents, documents, personnel and organization of the congresses of war veterans at all levels; In coordination with the Propaganda and Movement Department, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association organized a seminar on "Improving capacity, transforming awareness and thinking in building new rural areas, period 2021-2025" for the Veterans Associations of the southern provinces and cities. On this occasion, the City Veterans Association informed about the Association's activities in July and August; provided guidance on organizing the Congress of Veterans Associations at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; announced decisions on perfecting the Emulation and Reward Council, establishing emulation clusters under the City Veterans Association; provided guidance on emulation and reward work, launched and signed emulation covenants in the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans" in 2025.
