Dak Lak: Standard score to enter grade 10 is only from 2.5 points

The Dak Lak Department of Education and Training has just announced the admission scores for grade 10 of public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year; in which, the admission scores of many schools are only from 2.5 to 4 points.

On July 1, information from the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training said that the unit announced the admission scores for the 10th grade entrance exam for public high schools in the 2025-2026 school year.

Notably, in the list of 50 public high schools in Dak Lak province (old), in addition to 3 specialized schools, many schools have very low admission scores of only 2.5 - 4 points.

Specifically, the schools with the lowest admission scores include: Hai Ba Trung High School with 2.5 points; Krong Bong High School with 2.75 points; Cao Ba Quat High School and Phan Dang Luu High School both have a benchmark score of 3.75 points; Krong Ana High School has an admission score of 4...

In addition, there are dozens of other public high schools in the province with admission scores below 10 points. The highest are Le Quy Don High School with 19.5 points and Chu Van An High School with 15.25 points.

A leader of the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training said that the exam questions for the 10th grade entrance exam at public high schools are not difficult. However, the exam is to evaluate the quality of teaching at the secondary level in order to find solutions to improve the quality of teaching in the long term.

The leader informed that some schools have low admission scores because these schools have a large number of students from ethnic minority villages. Therefore, the qualityof education in these schools will be focused on.

"The unit will follow the principle of ensuring the children's right to go to school. In particular, it cannot deny the children their right to go to school and they all have the opportunity to study," said this leader.

It can be seen that for the 3 subjects (math, literature and foreign language), students only need to score less than 1 point/subject to pass the 10th grade entrance exam at some public high schools in Dak Lak province.
