Cat Hai Special Zone stops all tourism, exploitation, aquaculture and fishing activities in the area to prevent tropical depression.

Following the announcement of the People's Committee of Cat Hai Special Economic Zone, from 2:00 p.m. on August 18, all activities on the Cat Hai - Phu Long cable car route and tourism and entertainment activities in sea and island areas in Cat Hai Special Economic Zone will be temporarily suspended.

Cat Ba Border Guard Station and Cat Hai Border Guard Station preside over and coordinate with the Management Board of bays in Cat Ba archipelago to regularly notify and call on ships operating at sea and all workers on aquaculture cages and watchtowers to take shelter in safe places before 4:00 p.m. on August 18.

The People's Committee of Cat Hai Special Zone requested the Hai Phong Inland Waterways Port Authority and the representative of the Port Authority of Region 1 to temporarily suspend issuing departure orders for tourist transport vehicles according to regulations until further notice.
