Reporting to the working delegation, Mr. Nguyen Hong Lai, Secretary of the Tra Tan Commune Party Committee, said that Tra Tan Commune was formed from the merger of Tra Tan Commune and Tra Giac Commune, with 1,503 households and 6,293 people, and poor traffic infrastructure. The population is mainly ethnic minorities, accounting for 80%, of which there are 597 poor households and 103 near-poor households. Some residential areas do not have electricity, water, or internet. In particular, there are 4 villages in the commune with power outages.

Currently, the whole commune has 64 cadres, civil servants, and 18 part-time cadres working at the old Tra Tan commune headquarters, so there is not enough space for cadres to work. The commune has to use the village activity house, the commune cultural center, and the commune hall as workplaces, each office has 3-4 cadres, not ensuring space. The facilities and information infrastructure are old and degraded.
Thereby, the Secretary of the Tra Tan Commune Party Committee requested the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to pay attention to directing the preparation and organization of the Commune Party Congress. Infrastructure, communications, internet, and systems serving online rooms also need to be invested in and upgraded. At the same time, the locality also wants to pay attention to investing in public housing and collective dining halls because most of the new commune officials and civil servants transferred from other units have no place to live.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ngo Xuan Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, highly appreciated Tra Tan commune in the new model, with high operational requirements, but the commune basically met the set requirements. 16 criteria on science and technology for public administration were ensured. The preparation work for the congress recorded efforts, although many things were still confusing, so support and facilitation from the advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee were needed.
Regarding the difficulties, Mr. Ngo Xuan Thang said that when operating the new mechanism, there will be a policy of investing in facilities to serve the people.

“The city also has a policy of building public housing and researching policies for officials working in remote areas. Support is based on the distance from home to work in kilometers, not only officials from Quang Nam to Da Nang are supported with accommodation and travel policies. Policies for healthcare and education in remote areas are also being considered and researched to be presented at the earliest meetings,” the Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee emphasized.
