On July 4, the leader of Cam Lo Commune Medical Center, Quang Tri Province, said that the unit had just received treatment for a patient who was attacked by a monkey. The child, BTNQ (10 years old, residing in Dak Lak Province), was hospitalized with injuries to his head and buttocks.
Previously, Q. and his family traveled from Dak Lak province to Doc Kinh village, Cam Lo commune, to visit relatives.

At 9:00 a.m. on July 3, Q. and his family went to Rao Vinh stream, Cam Lo commune to play and were suddenly attacked by a monkey.
“The monkey was very aggressive. It suddenly rushed at Q., pushed him to the ground, and bit him on the head and buttocks. My family and I took him to the hospital. After receiving medical care, his health gradually stabilized,” said Q.’s relative.
Knowing that monkeys were attacking people, the forest rangers sent forces to inspect and come up with a plan to capture this monkey and release it back into the wild in a suitable area to prevent the monkey from continuing to attack people.
