Electronic Identification Team helps to overcome difficulties in implementing 2-level local government
In just 3 days, the 2-level local government model will officially operate. To support people in handling administrative procedures and removing difficulties and obstacles, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order will coordinate with the Hanoi City Police, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ) to establish 8 support working groups, including the Electronic Identification Group.

Accordingly, the Electronic Identification Team has three main tasks. The first is to organize local support points to guide people to register and activate level 1 and level 2 electronic identification accounts.
The second is to popularize the utilities of electronic identification accounts such as payment, online public services, and crime reporting through media channels. The third is to coordinate with agencies to integrate additional services such as driver's licenses, health insurance, or vaccination information into the VNeID application.
The working group, with the spirit of "going to every alley, knocking on every door, guiding every citizen", is a bridge between the government and the people in resolving administrative procedures, receiving feedback, and removing difficulties and obstacles right at the grassroots level.
