On August 8, the Central Party Secretariat issued a directive requiring all Party members throughout the Party to change their Party membership cards, emphasizing that this is an important task with profound political significance.
Accordingly, the new party membership card will be associated with the application of information technology , synchronized with the party member database to improve management efficiency, contributing to bringing digital technology into Party work.

On that basis, the provincial police leaders have directed the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order and the local police to actively propagate, mobilize and synchronously deploy measures to urgently reissue cards to all party members before August 25.
According to data from the Provincial Police, the whole province has more than 120 thousand party members who will be re-issued cards in this period. To ensure the assigned progress, the Provincial Police have arranged hundreds of issuance points in the province. These are all units that have been assigned the task of receiving applications for level 2 electronic identification and identification, ensuring a quick, professional process and smooth communication.

In Chu Se commune, according to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Son, Chief of the Commune Police, the entire commune has nearly 1,800 party members who will be reissued their cards. As of August 15, the unit has received more than 1,800 applications for both party members of the commune and party members in neighboring communes, and is expected to complete the target 10 days early.
“To ensure this number, the unit’s officers and soldiers have worked day and night, working through lunch, sometimes until midnight. In addition to collecting in the central area, we also bring mobile machines to many places in the commune to create the most favorable conditions for party members. In particular, Chu Se Commune Police are also ready to receive and reissue cards for party members from neighboring communes for the common mission,” emphasized Lieutenant Colonel Son.

In Duc Co commune, Lieutenant Colonel Dang Thanh Nghi, Chief of the Commune Police, said: “As of August 15, we have completed more than 90% of the plan for a total of nearly 1,000 party members. The commune police have arranged 3 shifts: morning, afternoon, and evening until about 10 p.m. every day to receive documents. The unit also supports machinery and personnel for the police of other communes to complete procedures for party members in order to quickly reissue cards on schedule.”
According to the reporter's records at the reception point of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order at 69 Hung Vuong (Pleiku Ward), in the beginning, every day there were hundreds of party members coming to submit applications for renewal of party membership cards.
To ensure scientific, avoid congestion, and not let party members wait too long, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order discussed with the party cells about the schedule for receiving documents of each party cell. Therefore, this work was carried out relatively quickly.
Mr. Doan Viet Hong (Provincial Forest Protection Department) shared: “The process of reissuing a new party membership card was facilitated by the police officers , from collecting information to taking photos, so it did not take too much time. Hopefully, with the new card, the information will be synchronized and updated, and everything will be more convenient.”

According to the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, as of August 14, the province has received more than 36,500 applications for reissuing party membership cards. Of which, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order received more than 4,700 applications and the Commune-level Police received more than 31,800 applications.
Lieutenant Colonel Do Trung Thanh - Deputy Head of the Team for registration guidance, residence management; issuance and management of CCCD (Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police) - informed: The Department has arranged 7 sets of apparatus, of which 4 sets are at 10 Tran Phu (Quy Nhon Ward) and 3 sets are at 69 Hung Vuong (Pleiku Ward). At the point in Pleiku Ward alone, about 600-700 records are received every day.
"The unit has advised the Provincial Police to coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to develop a schedule and organize the collection of applications for reissuing cards for 100% of official Party members of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, the Central Party Committee agencies located in the area, the Provincial Military Command Party Committee and the Provincial Police Party Committee to ensure progress before August 25," said Lieutenant Colonel Thanh.
