According to the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), this unit has just transferred the entire case file of the electric motorbike business with signs of counterfeiting the NIJA brand to the Investigation Police Agency, Hanoi City Police to continue verifying and clarifying the violation.
Previously, on June 16, the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development coordinated with the Economic Police Department, Hanoi City Police to inspect the compliance with the law in business activities of 2 Trung Hieu electric vehicle stores in Hanoi. Both businesses are owned by Mr. Le Van Kien (born in 1978).
As a result of the inspection, the inspection team discovered and temporarily detained over 50 NIJIA brand electric motorbikes and a number of other brands with suspected signs of being counterfeit (frame number, engine number).
Present at the scene, through preliminary identification, a representative of NIJIA Vietnam Co., Ltd. confirmed that the number of motorbikes sold at Trung Hieu electric vehicle store were not manufactured or distributed by the unit on the market.
Considering that the case has signs of criminal offense, the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development has transferred all related files and documents to the Investigation Police Agency, Hanoi City Police for further investigation and handling according to regulations.
