Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested the Party Committee and government of Nhan Co commune to focus on implementing goals to develop the local economy quickly and sustainably.

That was the direction of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi at the 1st Congress of Nhan Co Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, which took place on the morning of July 24.

During the past term, with the spirit of solidarity and unity in the political system, the efforts of all cadres, party members and people, Nhan Co commune successfully achieved 13/16 set targets.

Average economic growth rate is 11.8%/year. Budget revenue increases by an average of 19.5%/year. Poverty rate drops to 1.19%. In 2024, the commune will achieve model new rural status.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, Nhan Co Commune Party Committee focuses on 4 pillars and 3 breakthroughs.

The congress identified three breakthroughs. Specifically, Nhan Co will focus on developing bauxite mining, alumina processing, and aluminum smelting industries. It will promote the development of high-tech agriculture, value chain production, linking with the consumer market, and adapting to climate change.

Party members who are ethnic minorities in the area propose that the locality should pay attention to cultural preservation policies in carbon and trade.

The commune promotes the development of eco-tourism and resorts based on the advantages of climate, natural landscape and unique cultural identity of the locality.

Nhan Co commune was established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Nhan Co, Dak Wer and Nhan Dao. The whole commune has a total natural area of 158 km2, population of 29,800 people. The commune Party Committee has 47 subordinate Party cells, with 612 Party members.
