Choose Banking Finance or Econometrics?

I am confused between studying Banking and Finance to do financial analysis or studying Econometrics to do risk management.

Hi everyone, I am in grade 12 this year and am confused about choosing a major. I currently have two paths. One is to study Finance and Banking at the National Economics University and then take the CFA exam - a certificate for professional financial analysts in the fields of securities, investment, risk management, banking and finance. After that, I will do financial analysis.

Second, I studied Economic Mathematics, also at the National Economics University, took the FRM exam - an international practice certificate for experts working in the field of financial risk management, then worked in risk management.

Risk Management seems to be quite new in Vietnam, and in the next 5 years it may need a lot of human resources. Meanwhile, I see that those who study Mathematical Economics mainly work in data science and data analysis. Is there anyone who works in risk management who can give me advice?

I am also quite confused because studying Economic Mathematics does not have specialized courses on finance and securities like Banking Finance.
