Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat merged from 3 wards: Ward 8, Ward 9 and Ward 12. With a natural area of 35.03 km² and a population of 71,369 people, of which 3,674 are ethnic minorities, Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat has both cultural depth and potential for comprehensive socio -economic development.

Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat was formed from the merger of 3 wards with separate traditions and agricultural strengths. Of which, Ward 8 with the famous Ha Dong flower village; Ward 12 with Thai Phien flower village; Ward 9 with the traditional green vegetable area. It is the diversity of products, soil and farming models that has created a unique feature for the agriculture of Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat, where tradition and modernity, indigenous agriculture and advanced technology are combined.

From the vibrant Thai Phien flower area, the long-standing clean vegetable craft village to the IoT-applied farms and smart greenhouses, Lam Vien ward - Da Lat has the appearance of a model agricultural area, both preserving its identity and strongly transforming towards green agriculture - circular agriculture - digital agriculture.
