From direct production workers…
I have worked with Mr. Trong for 20 years. At that time (2005), Mr. Trong was a mechanical worker at the 30/4 Mechanical Processing Enterprise (Mr. Trong graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education). I was a specialist in the company's Emulation - Propaganda - Culture and Sports Department. Due to the nature and requirements of the job, I often went to the base, down to the garden, into the factory to collect information, write reports on the achievements of typical individuals in the patriotic emulation movement. I have known and become familiar with Mr. Trong since then. His hometown is Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province, then his family moved to Tay Ninh province to start a business. After graduating from university, he stayed in the city to work. After more than 3 years, through the introduction of friends, he applied to work at Binh Long Rubber Company (now Binh Long Rubber One Member Co., Ltd.).
Right from the first days of working at the factory, he and his colleagues always tried and made efforts to excellently complete the targets and workload assigned by the unit's leaders. While working, they researched and tested initiatives, technical improvements, optimized the operation process of machinery and equipment to help reduce chemical and electricity costs, reduce workers' labor, and at the same time contribute to minimizing environmental pollution. Proving his qualifications, professional capacity and dedication to work, in 2011, the factory leaders proposed that the company appoint him as Planning Assistant, and in 2013, he was appointed as Deputy Director of the factory. Mr. Trong and his colleagues have successfully researched and applied many solutions and scientific topics into practice with high efficiency, including: Experimental project to synthesize the management of latex raw materials according to the characteristics of the garden (variety, soil, etc.) to proactively mix raw materials in the mixture tank, improving product quality. Standardizing the secondary latex processing technology process to improve product quality, reduce production costs and minimize environmental pollution. Conducting inspection and control of rubber latex processing processes in accordance with the regulations of the ISO: 9001-2015 quality management system. Managing and operating well the wastewater treatment systems, waste treatment, exhaust gas, hazardous waste, etc. to ensure the requirements of the law on environmental protection. Changing the fuel for fumigation and drying from DO oil to LPG gas to reduce product costs, minimize environmental pollution, etc.
Among these, many topics won the 5th and 6th Binh Phuoc Province Technical Innovation Contest, including 3 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 4 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes. Participating in the 14th and 15th National Science and Technology Innovation Contest (organized by Vifotech Foundation), they won 1 third prize and 3 consolation prizes. There were 2 topics that won the Golden Cup for Outstanding Young Creative Products of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, which were the topic "Determining TSC of latex using a microwave oven" and the topic "Automatically controlling the daytime and nighttime lighting systems using a sensor system to save electricity".
…to become the head of the enterprise
In early 2019, the company's Board of Directors trusted and assigned him the responsibility of Director of the 30/4 Mechanical Processing Enterprise. He himself determined that the higher the honor, the heavier the responsibility. Not letting down the trust of the company's leaders and the goal of improving production efficiency, ensuring wages and income for workers, he and the team of highly skilled engineers and workers of the enterprise continued to research and successfully apply many topics, such as the Solution to replace molasses with methanol in wastewater treatment. Improving processes and equipment to produce and improve the quality of SVR 10 products from mixed materials. Researching the use of Debio 25 chemicals to replace TMTD/ZnO and Proxel AQ. Solutions to improve and upgrade the spillway system in the centrifugal latex processing line. Researching wastewater treatment without using chemicals to meet the requirements of reusing treated water and raising earthworms. Research on preserving garden materials using the chemical system DeBiO 25 - NH4OH. Research and manufacture of an automatic latex pick-up system in natural rubber latex production. Research and manufacture of a vibration warning system and automatic centrifuge safety control.
His solutions and initiatives have contributed to the company's profit of about 3 billion VND/year. More importantly, they have contributed to cleaner production, protecting the health of workers and the environment. The two topics "Research on wastewater treatment without using chemicals and meeting the requirements for reuse in vermiculture" and the topic "Research on preserving garden materials using the chemical system DeBio 25 - NH4OH" were honored to be awarded first prize in the Binh Phuoc province's technical innovation contest.
Burning passion for creativity
In January 2025, the company's Board of Directors decided to assign him a new responsibility, which is Deputy General Director of the company in charge of the industry, processing and environment sectors. Mr. Trong confided that his passion for scientific research and technical innovation had been in his blood since he was a student. In each position, the implementation of his passion will be different. If in the past he "did everything from A to Z", now he will be the one to plan, inspire, inspect and urge his colleagues to continue to do this work better. The ultimate goal is still to continuously improve quality to affirm the reputation and brand of Binh Long rubber in the market, contributing to the company's excellent completion of assigned tasks.
Talking about the title “Outstanding Citizen of Binh Phuoc”, he said that after 20 years of living and working in Binh Long - Binh Phuoc, he felt very honored and proud to be selected and awarded this title. He was humble when he said that his contributions were still “just a grain of sand”, there were many people who were more deserving! However, once honored, he had to live, work and contribute in a way that was worthy of the title that his second homeland - Binh Phuoc had graciously bestowed upon him.
During his 20 years working at the company, Mr. Doan Quang Trong has a very proud collection of achievements and awards, which are: Creative Youth Badge of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vietnam Rubber Award, dozens of certificates of merit from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (now the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment), Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam Rubber Industry Group. In particular, he was honored to be a delegate to the 9th National Patriotic Emulation Congress (2015), and was awarded a certificate of merit by the Prime Minister in 2021...
