The 45th Artillery Brigade of the Artillery Corps is also the unit assigned the responsibility of performing the 21-gun salute ceremony in the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

According to the master plan, during the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, 21 artillery salutes will be fired during the singing of the National Anthem. Each salute will consist of 2 shots fired from the ceremonial artillery.
