Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of Cam Le District People's Committee Nguyen Quang Vinh said that with positive results, the Cashless Payment Street model has been and is being implemented in many localities across the country.
Replicating this model will be the basis for promoting tourism, service activities, socio -economic development, helping people quickly access applications and utilities in the digital age, contributing to building digital citizens and digital society...
Ong Ich Duong Street is one of the bustling and bustling shopping streets, with a long history of trading in the district, located on the administrative boundaries of Khue Trung and Hoa Tho Dong wards, and is also the main route for people and tourists to Cam Le district.
At the same time, there is a connection with Thang Long, Nguyen Huu Tho, Le Dai Hanh, Cach Mang Thang Tam, Cam Le market and neighboring roads. The purpose is to build the image of a civilized commercial street, create a highlight in decoration, open space, extend business operating hours; at the same time, combined with non-cash payment will create favorable conditions for people to experience new, modern forms of payment.
“The launch of the street is expected to build a civilized commercial image, forming habits for small traders, business households and individuals and organizations in buying and selling transactions, contributing to promoting trade and tourism activities, creating an attractive and healthy environment, while serving the needs of sightseeing, shopping, and food services of people and tourists when coming to Cam Le district,” Mr. Vinh emphasized.
According to the Economic Department of Cam Le District, the district's policy of building a civilized commercial street associated with cashless payment, Ong Ich Duong, is agreed upon by the majority of households and businesses.
There are 174 business households along the route, of which 135 have relatively neat business signs and signboards, 91 households have aesthetically pleasing electrical decorations, 135 households have payments by QR-code or via bank, Vnpay wallet...
