Regarding facilities, inspection teams for electricity, water, fire prevention and fighting (PCCC), hygiene and environment systems have been established in all departments and rooms... In terms of expertise, department leaders directly go to the rooms every day, continuously check the reserve of medicines - medical supplies, fully arrange hospital beds... The duty schedules of leaders, doctors, head nurses as well as the logistics team have also been fully prepared.
Discharge procedures are also shortened to facilitate patients and their relatives. At the same time, the hospital has established emergency teams outside the hospital and specialized departments...; at the same time, it has developed a disaster response plan, issued red alerts, and prepared for situations that may occur or a possible increase in the number of patients after the holidays.

Regarding the technical system, Cho Ray Hospital has prepared blood, oxygen, electricity, network and information technology resources. At the same time, IT staff is arranged to be on duty 24/7 to promptly handle incidents. In addition, online consultation, organ transplants and the ability to provide medical support to other localities are also proactively put in place...
Similarly, at Thong Nhat Hospital, for emergency work, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Dinh Thanh, Director of the Hospital, said that they have reserved enough beds in the departments, arranged separate areas for each group of patients, and established 2 disaster emergency and rapid response teams capable of departing within 5 minutes to deploy emergency outside the hospital. Regarding equipment and administration, in addition to ensuring oxygen and fire prevention systems, the Hospital has added a plan to check water reserves, information technology, as well as flood prevention plans in anticipation of heavy rain. Essential medicine sources have been fully stocked for 4-5 days.

Security work is also given special attention, with close coordination with the Police force and Military Region 7 to prevent security and order risks. In addition, the hospital is also ready to support other localities and coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health when requested.
Dr. Ngo Anh Tuan, Acting Director of Hospital 1A, also informed that the hospital's logistics system has been thoroughly prepared with ambulances, a 20% increase in administrative staff, a large-capacity backup generator capable of operating the entire hospital, and water tanks that can be used for 5 days. In addition, Hospital 1A has also developed a disaster response scenario, arranged a hospital-wide emergency system, and red alert buttons in the resuscitation department, but is still reviewing to ensure feasibility in practice.
Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Tri Thuc requested hospitals to rehearse online consultations, prepare adequate human resources, medicines, and medical supplies for medical examination and treatment, organ transplants, shorten the discharge process, and have a reasonable plan for human resource coordination after the holiday. In addition, hospitals must always coordinate, support each other, and be ready to support localities in case of major incidents, to ensure that all medical situations are handled promptly and effectively.
